Explanations to the Israel Airports timetable

Introduction

The purpose of this page is to show another application for the "Dynamic Data Layer" technology of GoogleEarth.

Israel has several airports. Most of them are run by the Israel Airport Authority:

Ben-Gurion Airport, Intl.
Eilat Airport
Ovda Airport
Haifa Airport (not equipped with live schedule)
Rosh Pina Airport (not equipped with live schedule)
Herzliya Airport (not equipped with live schedule)
Dov Hoz (Sde Dov) Airport

Other airports have less than 10 flights per day, or are closed entirely due to low passenger volume.

After executing the loader KML, all 4 networklinks send every 5 minutes separately a request to get the current arrival and departure timetable.

For every airport, there are 2 radio buttons, either for the arrival or the departure placemark.

Technical details

realized with C# and asp.net (2.0)
Requires GE 4, because of the radio-style placemarks.
The refresh time of the GoogleEarth Networklink is set to 5 minutes and the asp.net page cache setting is set to 10 minutes, so the time delay in the worst case is 15 minutes
Israel time is GMT+2.
